About Our Hospital
The Bellevue Animal Hospital, originally called the Mission Animal Clinic, was
established in 1963. Founded by Dr. James E. Boyd, the hospital was originally
located in Old Town Bellevue.
The Bellevue Animal Hospital was inducted into the AAHA accreditation program
in 1973. In order to become a AAHA accredited hospital, a hospital must comply
with AAHA's unique list of standards. Thus for 31 years the hospital has been
honored to serve as a member hospital of AAHA. This means we maintain the
highest standards of veterinary care for our patients.
In 1984, a new building was built on 25th & Cornhusker. At that time there were
4 doctors in the practice. As the practice grew so did the staff. Presently we
have 6 doctors on staff. In September of 2003 Dr. Boyd sold the practice to Dr.
Campbell, Dr. Rock-Paul, Dr. Pfeiffer and Dr. Truax.
Our mission at the Bellevue Animal Hospital is to provide the highest quality
medical and surgical care to our patients and offer the best possible services to
our clients. Our clients are friends as well as customers, and we value their
continued trust and goodwill.
